Cooking guide
Cubita empanadas cook from frozen. Pick the method you are using, then cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
Frying instructions
For best results, cook from frozen. Do not thaw.
Step 1
Prepare
Heat fryer oil to 350°F. Do not overcrowd the basket.
Step 2
Fry
Fry empanadas for 3½–4 minutes until golden and crisp.
Step 3
Drain
Remove from oil and drain on a wire rack for 1 minute.
Step 4
Finish
Move to a sheet pan and finish in a preheated convection oven at 325°F for 7–9 minutes.
Step 5
Ready to serve
Heat until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Serve hot.
Storage
- Keep frozen at 0°F or below.
- Do not thaw.
- Cook directly from frozen.
- Do not refreeze once thawed.
